    Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

    This Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken is the best way to shake up your classic boring grilled chicken dinner. The honey mustard based marinade is the perfect balance of sweet, salty and savory. Plus, it goes with all kinds of side dishes!

    During the late summer months, we're all looking for easy, delicious recipes that require as little babysitting over a hot stove or grill as possible. And this Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken is a perfect option, no matter what else you're having on the side!

    First, we mix up a big batch of the honey mustard marinade, which includes honey mustard, soy sauce and garlic. This creates a fabulous balance of sweet, salty and savory.

    Then we grill the chicken until it's cooked through. After a brief rest, we slice it and drizzle on more dressing/sauce. This creates a delicious, savory chicken that goes perfectly on green salads, mixed into pasta salad or eaten with simple grilled veggies and garlic bread.

    Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

    Prep Time 10 minutes
    Cook Time 20 minutes
    Marinating Time 4 hours
    Total Time 30 minutes

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 lbs chicken breasts
    • 1/2 cup honey mustard dressing
    • 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
    • 4 cloves crushed garlic
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon pepper

    Instructions

    • In a small bowl, mix together the honey mustard dressing, soy sauce, crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well.

    • Place the chicken in a plastic bag or baking dish, drizzle half the dressing over top and marinate for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

    • Heat the grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the chicken on and cook for 10-12 minutes per side. Flip and cook through.

    • Remove chicken from the heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Drizzle the remaining dressing over the top, slice and serve!
