I'm not into fancy cocktail recipes. The simpler, the better—mostly because I like being able to whip up drinks in a snap. With whatever's in the house.
And when it's fall, there's always apple cider in the back of the fridge! It's the perfect amount of sweetness to balance out the sharp, smokiness of whiskey or moonshine. So these Spiked Apple Cider's are a super common fall cocktail around here!
No matter what you have in your liquor cabinet, it'll work super well in apple cider! Whiskey, bourbon, moonshine, even vodka—just go with it!
But no matter what, make sure to top it all off with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick—it's all in the details.
