S’mores Treats

S’mores Treats

Rice Krispie Treats used to be one of my favorite things to make when I was young. In their simplicity, my mom always let us have free range of the kitchen when making them. We’d totally trash them up with sprinkles and food coloring and weird add-ins and toppings. Oddly.. I never really liked to eat them that much. Picking colors and flavors and getting a little sticky was the fun part. After that, I was super over it. Not at all shocking.

These S’mores Treats, a spin on the classic, are totally where it’s at though. They taste just like a s’more with the marshmallow-y stickiness, the graham-y cereal, and the serious chocolate flavor. gimme more, gimme gimme more.

Plus, like the classic Rice Krispie Treats, these S’mores Treats couldn’t be easier. They only take about 5 minutes of actual back-breaking, hand-cramping work (jk…we’ll have none of that). And people think they’re a little impressive. Which always rocks when they’re secretly simple 😉
