    Treat. Yo. Self.
For Valentine's Day , Galentine's Day or just about any day of the year... this Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Smoothie Bowl has all the decadence you crave with all the self-love and goodness that you need!

Tis the season for heart-shaped everything, chocolate-covered fruits, and red and pink treats everywhere we look! Is there any other time of the year when it's appropriate to coat everything in this crazy color combination?!

In truth, I've always loved Valentine's Day. Before I even had a Valentine (shout out to my boo, Luke!), it was just a fabulous excuse in the middle of the grayness of winter to bake treats for friends, eat more chocolate than I should and tell the people I love just how grateful I am for them.

However, I have to tell you something highly controversial—I'm not a fan of chocolate-covered strawberries. Don't get me wrong, the flavor combo is delish and the chocolate has that fun crunch. But I hate when they come out of the fridge and the chocolate starts to... sweat... a little bit. Eww. I just can't deal. The chocolate gets a little mushy and so does the strawberry. Making for a waste of two very delicious ingredients. No good.

So here's to not wasting anything, but preserving the killer flavor combo...

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie Bowl | Sip + Spice

Meet: the infamous Chocolate-Covered Strawberry re-imagined in my favorite form—a smoothie bowl! This Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Smoothie Bowl seriously tastes exactly like the decadent treats that are everywhere right now—but so much better!

Plus, this blend is packed with tons of calcium, antioxidants, iron, fiber and vitamins for a well-rounded self-loving treat!

But what really sets these smoothie bowls over the edge is the sprinkling of Strawberry Granola from Cascadian Farm—this stuff is SO good. It's speckled with dried strawberries to really bring home the strawberry flavor, and it adds just the right amount of sweetness to the bowl!

Make a single bowl for your bad self or share it with your Valentine. But no matter what, keep on sprinklin' the love!
