There is one side dish that is perfect no matter what meal you're serving, what temperature it is outside, who's eating dinner, whether you're on a diet, or if it's a fancy dinner or a casual eat-at-the-counter Wednesday night. This Perfect Roasted Broccoli is truly your anytime-anywhere side dish that will please everyone, no matter the circumstances. And it comes together in less than 25-minutes!
Plus, aside from the broccoli, all the ingredients are probably already in your pantry/spice cabinet! Cha-ching—my favorite kind of dish!
And, if it's easier for you to find or stock frozen broccoli, you can make Perfect Roasted Broccoli too! Simply spread the frozen broccoli out on the tray and bake in the oven for 5 minutes to defrost slightly before adding your spices, then finish roasting to get them crispy.
Making Perfect Roasted Broccoli is super simple! Chop the broccoli into florets—I like keeping as much of the stem on each as possible. Then sprinkle on the seasonings and drizzle with olive oil.
Massage the spices and olive oil into the broccoli, then pop into the oven for 20 minutes. You'll know they're done when they are super fragrant and are just starting to crisp up and brown around the edges.
These Perfect Roasted Broccoli have an incredible texture that's equal parts crispy and crunchy in the florets and tender in the stem. And the flavor pops with garlic, olive oil and a touch of crushed red pepper!
